Stages Dance Academy Curriculum is based on developing the young dancer in spirit, body strength, coordination and discipline. Although we take our training seriously, we strive to create a nurturing, comfortable and fun atmosphere in the classroom.

Pre-Dance (Ages 2-4) TOP >>
This unique program introduces students to tap, ballet, jazz and acrobatics. Students perform in one tap dance routine in the year-end recital
Ballet (Ages 5 & Up) TOP >>
Ballet is the foundation for all other dance forms. Classes are designed to develop technique, posture and proper placement of body and mind
Tap (Ages 5 & Up) TOP >>
Tap develops a strong sense of rhythm, strength and coordination
Jazz (Ages 6 & Up) TOP >>
An energetic form of freestyle dance that promotes execution, flexibility and enthusiasm in performance
Jazz - Hip Hop Combo: TOP >>
This Teen Level class combines both Jazz and Hip Hop. Students will learn 2 separate routines during this 90 minute class. (Cost is based on 2 class tuition rates)
Acrobatics (Ages 6 & Up) TOP >>
An athletic class that involves stretching, floor work, tumbling and dance

Lyrical (Ages 10 & Up) TOP >>
A blend of jazz and ballet techniques that uses emotion to tell a story from the stage

Hip Hop (Ages 9 & Up) TOP >>
A form of street dance performed to popular dance and hip-hop music
ENROLLMENT IN JAZZ IS REQUIRED
Cheer Dance (Ages 7 & Up) TOP >>
A class involving sharp, focused movements, jazz and acrobatics. Great for the energetic dancer!

Pointe (Ages 11 & Up) TOP >>
A Ballet performed on the tops of the toes. Dancers will be placed on Pointe at the discretion of their teacher, based on strength of technique and ability.

The Stage Struck Competition Company TOP >>

This elite team of dancers is chosen through the audition process and works in groups focusing on the well-rounded performer. Each member participates in a Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop & Novelty/Musical theater routine. They also take two weekly non performing Ballet/technique classes.
